CHECKSUM SERVICEEDC17 and MED17 processing depends on the readout layout. The same ECU family does not imply identical handling for every software version. WinOLS analyses the actual file before confirming a result.
Preparing your file
Use original + modified mode when you have both files. The original must match the software version of the modified file. MED17 variants may require it.
Formats: .bin, .mpc, .mod or no extension. Maximum 19 MiB. The service verifies checksums, not calibration quality.
Processing details
Some EDC17 files, including EDC17-Dummy, do not require correction by this module. An unchanged file alone is not proof of successful verification: the service checks the WinOLS confirmation.
